In this world, do you know what is the saddest love?
It’s the love between singers and fans.
The love between Super Junior and E.L.F…
Tears started rolling down my eyes the moment I read the first few lines. I could relate with the fan who made the video.
It’s not easy to become a fan of a singer because you feel the ups and downs that he feels. You are happy when something good happens to him/her; yet you feel upset when something bad happens to him/her. You worry about him when he’s sick; he feels bad when he’s being criticized; you cry when you see him cry. In short, you feel what he feels.
I don’t know with the fans of other singers; but I do understand what it feels to be a fan of Super Junior.
No wonder leader Lee Teuk always tell us (the E.L.F) that it’s not easy to become a Super Junior’s fan because they never get to rest. Fans go with them wherever they go. They wait outside the studio despite the cold weather and rain just to be able to cheer for their idols. Lee Teuk always says if he’s a fan of Super Junior, he might have given up. Moreover, Super Junior has gone through a lot of hard times which deeply breaks our heart (the car accident of Hee Chul and Kyu Hyun, the strike against SM Entertainment for adding Zhou Mi and Henry to Super Junior M, the case against Kang In’s reckless driving, the contract termination of Han Kyung and lawsuit against SM Entertainment). Even though they are popular, it’s inevitable for an artist to continue receiving negative forces from others.
Thus Super Junior is very thankful for the fans who have been with them from the start, those who have come to love them and those who never choose to leave them despite everything.
Yes, love between Super Junior and ELF is difficult. But despite everything, we choose to remain loyal to them. We choose to support them and love them. I know that as long as we’re together; as long as Super Junior has ELF, they will never break down.
